This work deals with time in quarantine and the feelings caused by isolation from the outside world. It approaches this shifted perception of reality, the self-awareness and intimacy in two different ways. Many everyday contexts stay unchanged but feel different, sometimes days fade, sometimes they feel like a wormhole. If one thinks of "reality" as something that we construct within society, then the question arises how to build this reality, when the connection to the community is no longer given.
The first part of this work consists of seven big analogue colour photographs, that show subjects fragmented into components by a mirror device. The focus shifts to details that develop a life of their own detached from their environment. They are meant to visualize how overwhelming isolation can be for one's perception.

The second part contains pictures, which are taken on black and white film. They show a filtered, disconnected view of reality, distance and intimacy. The clear subjects anchor the photography in the present. They create an ambivalence to colour images, a kind of limbo where the duration and the location doesn't matter. Everything in this images seems to lurk.
